Sales Manager Agriculture (SM)

(Remote) Based near major US Airport Hub

To further develop the American market, we are currently searching for a Sales Manager Agriculture that will plan, organize and manage the overall sales and marketing of biological, microbiological and pollination products for outdoor operations. Responsible for the overall sales strategy and providing the appropriate technical support in the region to equip the sales force, the Sales Manager Agriculture has full responsibility and accountability for the sales results of Koppert products in the assigned agricultural market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coaching and directing of various staff members within the continental US to assist them in achieving their goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategy directly to our growers and through directing distributor relationships including the marketing of Koppert products.
  • Coordinates and implements consistent pricing strategies for crops and or regions.
  • Develop and maintain technical protocols for crops managed with Koppert biologicals and/or pollinators.
  • Participates with R&D in prioritizing technical needs for the region and conducts training for employees and/or distributing partners in the use and results with new products.
  • Developing sales forecasts for production planning for both biological controls and pollination products.
  • Directs marketing of Koppert products through direct visits to key accounts, development of new market relationships and price point management.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or similar experience
  • 8 + years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the agriculture industry
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; set explicit direction for the objectives and outcomes of team
  • Communicate effectively; both verbally and written in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, including abroad, for training and/or Management gatherings.
