Koppert Has the Answers at IFTF 2018

News

Changes in the field of international trade and product innovation will be the focus for Koppert Biological Systems at this year's International Floriculture Trade Fair at Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands, from November 7-9. Visitors from all over the world come to the fair to see the latest developments and to be inspired by experts and exhibitors.

IFTF
The IFTF is the world's most important trade exhibition for international flower growers and buyers and has attracted exhibitors from 116 countries this year. In cooperation with Union Fleurs, HPP Exhibitions and Hortipoint, there will also be an International Floriculture Forum. The forum will host a range of high-level speakers who have been invited to share their views on ongoing trends and changes in the sector, such as rising protectionism, the potential impact of Brexit, and the consolidation of breeding companies.

New iQ innovation quarter
The Koppert stand this year features an Innovation Quarter spotlighting a 'crown jewel' – a revolutionary product that dramatically improves biological spider mite control. The Koppert consultants will be at hand to tell visitors how it works and give them up-to-date advice on Koppert's biological solutions and how to comply to the growing demands from retailers for residue-free products.

Retailers demands
'As the IFTF mainly attracts flower growers and buyers, another important focus of our stand will be on cultivation without residues,' says senior consultant Ellen Klein. 'An increasing number of retailers are demanding that their products have little or no chemical residues, which makes IPM an important option for growers. They need to comply to a growing number of regulations and the quality demands from retailers are issues we can help clients with.'

'The international nature of this fair means we can reach customers from all four corners of the world. We will be there to convince more growers to follow this sustainable and profitable route through the success stories we have from growers worldwide. We have plenty of referrals from satisfied growers to show them!' Ellen states.
