A natural biostimulant that contains several seaweed species (including Ascophyllum nodosum and Fucus vesiculosus) and plant extracts, plus Humic and Fulvic acids. Vidi Fortum resembles the composition of the root exudates. Therefore, it will significantly improve crop performance and health due to applications substantially enhancing soil microbial activity and function. Specifically focused on creating and maintaining a positive rhizosphere which directly leads to improved root growth. Further, there is improvment in nutrient uptake and above-ground vegetative growth with higher levels of chlorophyll.
When to use Vidi Fortum?
Cell division and the formation of proteins, carbohydrates and chlorophyll
Root growth and branching
Nutrient uptake through the optimizing exudate and microbial levels
Increasing soil microbial biomass and beneficial diversity
Vegetative steering
How does Vidi Fortum work?
During periods of an increased demand for assimilates or in stressful conditions, the roots may experience an exudate deficiency in all growing media and soil grown crops. This deficit leads to physiological and nutritional disorders, as well as a greater susceptibility to stress and pathogens, irrespective of inputs. Vidi Fortum optimizes the survival and function of the soil microbial biomass around the plant roots by providing essential nutrients to these microbes. The absorption of essential elements increases significantly when the root environment improves, this results in improved plant growth and strength.
As the relationship between the plant and the growing media improves, there is a positive chain effect, leading to cell division, increased populations of disease suppressing substances, the formation of proteins, carbohydrates and chlorophyll.
It is the organic compound with targeted application to support the microbial processes around the roots. This strengthens the roots ability to function, making substances and disease-suppressing components available to the plant.

All components comply with EU regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008 for organic farming. This product is EKO-certified by Control Union Certifications under number CU 803627. This product is not a fertilizer or a pesticide and is exempt from legal registration requirements. Non-toxic and completely safe to use. No micro-organisms are added to the extract, nor are any animal by-products or artificial hormones employed. No synthetic or harmful chemicals have been used in the extraction process. The extraction is water based without using alcohol or other chemical solvents. That is why this product is rich in all natural substances that can be found in seaweeds, including natural plant hormones, betains, alginates, amino acids, carbohydrates and vitamins. Such elements are not found in normal fertilizers, while they are essential for a good crop growth.
How to use Vidi Fortum
Application methods
Preparation of the solution
Shake the jerry can with Vidi Fortum thoroughly before use
The application tank should be filled with half the required water prior to adding the Vidi Fortum.
Add the correct amount of Vidi Fortum to the spray solution
Mix thoroughly
Fill up the application tank
Apply. Vidi Fortum is soluble and easily absorbed by the plant
Optimum response only occurs when the product is taken up by the plant, either through the roots or leaves
Applying as drench or via the irrigation system
A separate tank/container is recommended for the proper preparation and application of the products
Always apply Vidi Fortum to the irrigation water after the sand filter, ideally directly injected at the irrigation valve (by means of a Dosatron or Venturi)
Avoid drainage in substrates when applying drench/drip applications to prevent leaching
Make sure Vidi Fortum does not remain in the irrigation system during the night
Use disinfectants regularly to keep the irrigation system clean, but do not use Vidi Fortum at the same time as the disinfectant
Ensure that the concentration of Vidi Fortum is higher than 200ppm at the plant
Ensure that the drench reaches the root zone. Penetrant adjuvants can be applied to assist transport to the root zone
Applying as a foliar
Always ensure that the spray tank is clean
Ensure good crop coverage
Application rates are based on 1000 litres spray volume per ha
Optimize crop response with addition of a sticker adjuvant
Applying as a mist/fog
Low volume, cold mist equipment
Ensure good crop coverage

Compatibility
Tank mix compatible with most soluble fertilizers and pesticide applications. However, it is recommended and good practice to test any mix for unexpected reactions. It is also recommended to test the mix on a few plants prior to extensive use of any mix.
Results
A three-year trial with Vidi Fortum in strawberries has shown that an immersion treatment of twenty minutes with 4% Vidi Fortum resulted in increased resistance. Verticillium had less opportunity to develop as a result. The result was even better than that observed in the chemical reference group.
A foliar feeding of pak choi cultivated in soil treated with Vidi Fortum (three times with a one week interval) resulted in an increased production of 35%.
