We are excited to announce an update to our Citripar product, enhancing both its sustainability and user experience. Citripar, known for its effective biological control of Citrus mealybug (Planococcus citri) and vine mealybug (Planococcus ficus) in citrus and grape crops, now features a new packaging designed with the environment and ease of application in mind.
The redesigned packaging includes a practical feature: a perforated lid with a sticker that simplifies the application process. The hanging mechanism remains unchanged, enabling easy placement of the product in the crop canopy. The new Citripar packaging is made from primarily recyclable materials. It consists of a recyclable cardboard tube, two recyclable plastic lids. This update reflects the company's ongoing efforts to reduce plastic waste.
Francesco Bourlot, Category Product Manager at Koppert, shares his thoughts on the new Citripar packaging: ‘With this redesign, we aimed to improve both usability and sustainability. The new packaging makes it easier for growers to apply Citripar effectively while also reducing plastic use.
