Stop by and say hello to our team of experts. Bring your questions! Growers themselves, Koppert’s Technical Consultants have amassed broad experience with a wide range of commercial crops across the country. Drawing from their wealth of practical knowledge they devise creative strategies for managing some of the most troubling pests affecting plant production. Ask our Technical Consultants anything you’d like to know about IPM, bio programs, or Koppert’s product line. They’re happy to share their expertise.
Let’s talk Limonica and prep for fall and winter IPM! This is the most aggressive predatory mite commercially available. Even in cooler temperatures Limonica feeds on thrips of all sizes, like the larger larval instars, as well as whiteflies and spider mites. On several occasions it’s been observed feeding and laying eggs when it’s cool enough in the greenhouse to see your breath.
Applying Limonica is easy and accurate with the Natutec Airobreez from Koppert. Despite its distribution strength, the Airobreez handles like a video game. Precise motor controls ensure delivery of beneficials to exactly where they are needed in volume or in detail. Engineered to cut waste, it delivers an even layer of predators right where it counts. Be sure to check out Limonica and Airobreez while visiting the Koppert booth, and have a look at the newest additions to our fertilizer and biostimulant lineup, too.
Biosulfur-S is a biologically derived sulfur solution engineered for effortless application, uniform leaf coverage, and enhanced crop vitality. Its hydrophilic nature and smaller particle size delivers consistent performance across a wide range of crops, and the liquid-friendly formulation makes it an ideal tank mix partner with no clumps, no dust, and no clogged nozzles. You can expect higher efficacy at lower rates than standard sulfur, whether used alone or in combination with other inputs. Biosulfur-S was formulated to be gentle on beneficial insects and respectful of natural enemies so it helps preserve ecological balance in the field.
PhylloKare is a seaweed-based biostimulant derived from Ascophyllum nodosum marine plants. It ensures faster recovery from transplant shock and then, as critical roots are growing out, it provides better nutrient management to maintain growth during heat, drought, cold snaps, and salt stress. PhylloKare is compatible with most fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers.
Biosulfur-S and PhylloKare join our existing biostimulant line that includes entomopathogenic fungus (EPF) Isarid™ and microbial soil amendment Microflora SA. Learn more about these and other biosolutions from the leader in biological crop protection—visit the Koppert booth for answers, advice, or just a friendly chat about bugs.
